Review of Cummari’s Women’s Writing Retreat Sicily

The Women's Writing Retreat with Cummari has been an absolutely wonderful experience! 

The theme of 'Opening to the page' was already what I was looking for, as I live in my mind & get stuck there, when I want to write creatively. The workshops with Anne helped me find a new perspective on creativity & energy and gave me a scaffolding that I can use to start 'climbing' by myself. To create you need more than your mind, you need heart, body & soul working with it. A more holistic approach, instead of purely intellectual. 

Ella's guest workshop brought glamour & zaniness, I loved her 'Go Get It'-attitude and her sense of humour (so very English). 

Michelle is the most down-to-earth spiritual teacher I have met. Combined with her stories of (female) anthropology and analysing of myths, this retreat turned out to be tailor made for me. 

I also loved the flow of the days, nothing was pushed, time was flexible, and yet everything went smoothly and got done. Very well organised! 

The cherries on top were the location, its beauty & serenity, Lara and the rest of the team, the food (Grazie nonna Emilia & Mirella) and last but not least, my fellow writers. Thank you all for the sharing, the community spirit, the tears and the joy. I'm looking forward to read your future words.
