Nestled in small Sicilian village, steps from an idyllic seaside walking path, our spacious new location features an undeniable feminine energy and wild woman spirit—thoughtfully designed to inspire reflection, creativity and belonging while Cummari is your home.

Where Volcano Etna meets the Ionian Sea
Once the bustling heart of Sicily’s wine trade, Riposto’s historic port was a gateway for the renowned wines of Etna. Today, this charming seaside town is known for its seafood markets, breathtaking views of Etna, and a tranquil promenade along the Ionian Sea. With easy train access to Taormina and Catania, Riposto offers the perfect retreat for women seeking a blend of relaxation, tradition, and authentic Sicilian warmth.

Marilyn’s Room
Our most spacious room, Marilyn’s Room is a full apartment on the ground floor with its own private kitchen, bathroom, dressing room, and outdoor courtyard. Morning light filters in gently, and the high ceilings—typical of 1800s Sicilian homes—add to its sense of quiet openness. This room offers extra privacy and space, making it ideal for longer stays or those seeking a more independent rhythm while still being part of the Cummari community.
Named after my first cummari—my goddess mother, Marilyn—this space honors the deep wisdom, warmth, and friendship at the heart of everything she offers me. More photos are to come as we finish renovations.

Tina’s Room
A calm, light-filled space with its own private terrace overlooking the port and sea. As our second-largest room, it’s south-facing and catches soft sunlight throughout the day. Located one level above a quiet, one-way village street, it offers a peaceful retreat with a gentle connection to daily life outside. Tina’s Room shares two bathrooms and a kitchen with the neighboring Amy’s Room, making it ideal for solo travelers or friends looking for a relaxed, shared experience.

Amy’s Room
A bright, airy space that welcomes the morning sun. Located on the first floor (one level above ground), this room features French doors that open onto a north-facing terrace—perfect for quiet moments with a fresh breeze. Amy’s Room shares two bathrooms and a kitchen with neighboring Tina’s Room, offering a balance of privacy and easy connection.
