The summer solstice is one of them— when light reaches its peak, when the earth holds its breath, when what has been hidden asks to be seen.
This is a threshold experience. A small circle of women gathering not to consume an experience, but to step into one.
The Experience
Evening — Arrival into Stillness
We gather in the stone streets of Montalbano Elicona, a place that has held centuries of footsteps, stories, and silence. Here, we will arrive slow
ly. Nothing rushed. Nothing forced. We will gather together for nourishing dinner and ceremony before heading early to bed.
Night — Descent & Rest
You sleep in the embrace of the mountain village, held between earth and sky. The night is part of the experience. The pause. The unknown. The unseen.
Before Dawn — The Crossing
We rise before first light. In silence, we travel toward Argimusco Plateau— a place often called the Stonehenge of Sicily, where rock formations have stood for millennia, aligned with sky, story, and myth.

witness the turning of the season
mark what is coming into light in your own life
stand, quite literally, between earth and sky
Morning — Return
After the sun has risen, we slowly come back. No urgency. No abrupt ending.
Midday — The Feast
We close with a long, grounding lunch—a return to the body, to nourishment, to warmth.

This entire solstice experience—including your stay, shared meals (dinner, breakfast & lunch), the sunrise gathering and transportation —is €400. We kindly ask for a €100 deposit to hold your space.
This event is open to women staying at Cummari or simply in Sicily during the solstice. For those staying at Cummari beforehand, we will host a women’s circle and additional workshops in the week leading up to the event.
