Opening May 2025
Cummari's New Travel House & Coliving Space in Sicily
In July 2025 we purchased a new larger home for Cummari in a charming fishing village at the foot of Volcano Etna. Cummari's house is just five doors from the port of Riposto and a quick 20-minute train ride from both Catania and Taormina.

We are currently under renovation with a planned re-opening in May 2025
​
The new Cummari will be three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens, one living room, one internal ground courtyard, two terraces and one roof terrace (the entire length of the house).

Marilyn's Room
​
Our ground floor, private room (apartment) located on the ground floor of the house with its own private kitchen, bathroom, dressing room and outdoor courtyard. This apartment receives morning sun and has high ceilings.

This room is named after my first cummari, my goddess mother Marilyn who has been a consistent source of friendship, love and wisdom - the trust essence of Cummari. Growing up, her homes have always been inspirational to me and I plan for her room to reflect her impeccable taste.

Marilyn's room estimated rates for 2025:
Daily - 150 euro (minimum of 4 nights)
Weekly - 945 euro
Monthly (28 days) - 2,900 euro
Amy's Room
​
Our coziest room with french doors leading to a north facing terrace on the 1st floor (one level up from ground floor). This rooms shares two bathrooms and a kitchen with Dotty's room. This room receives morning sun.

This room is named after my girl, Amy Winehouse.

Dolly's room estimated rates for 2025:
Daily - 100 euro (minimum of 4 nights)
Weekly - 625 euro
Monthly (28 days) - 1,950 euro
Tina's Room
​
This our second largest room has a private terrace with views of the port and sea. This room is south facing and is one floor above the small one way street side that runs in front of the house. This rooms shares two bathrooms and a kitchen with Winnie's room. This room receives morning sun.

This room is named after my first record, Tina Turner.

Tina's room estimated rates for 2025:
Daily - 110 euro (minimum of 4 nights)
Weekly - 675 euro
Monthly (28 days) - 2,000 euro
Join Cummari's Waiting List
In 2020, Cummari collaborated with Basico Architettura to renovate and redesign a traditional (1800s) flat in Catania, Sicily to become the first Cummari in 2019.
Cummari's Catania location was a bispoke design that combines classic Sicilian elements with thoughtful & modern design to create a luxurious accommodation space. This space was sold to private buyers in 2023.
