Cummari offers private Italian language lessons in partnership with the The Melting Pot language school in Catania to help you making the most of living in Sicily. The lessons are perfect for guests starting from zero to guests wanting to perfect their Italian language skills.

Etna Volcano Hike Experience

One of the best ways to experience the beauty and energy of our part of Sicily is to go on a tour of Volcano Etna with our expert local guide Saro.

Saro customizes tours and hikes on Etna to suit your interests and hiking pace. You can also combine a hike with a visit to a local winery or exploring the Alcantara river.

Sailing to the Ionian Coast of Sicily
One of the most relaxing and beautiful ways to enjoy Sicily is on the Ionian sea. Join our friend, Captain Angelo of the sailboat Didi to sail from Riposto to Taormina. In the summer be sure to pack your bathing suit so that you can dive into the clear turquoise water under the cliffs of Taormina.

On board you can enjoy homemade Sicilian treats, wine and locally brewed Kombucha by Cristina the other amazing crew member of Didi.

Etna Winery Tour & Tasting

Tour a 1700s family winery just on the outskirts of Catania. At Etna Urban Winery you will learn the Greek method for making wine in a Palmento, tour the new vineyard, and taste wine from the Etna region complimented by a food pairing of Sicilian classics with a modern twist.

Tours begin every Tuesday - Saturday at 9:30am.

One on One Yoga with Pola
(in English at Cummari)
A 60 minute yoga class consists of breath work, meditation, practice of asana (the postures) followed by relaxation.
​
Pola strongly believes in the healing properties of yoga, that are affecting not only the body, but more importantly our mental health.
Pola is originally from Poland and is she is currently living in Catania to continue her studies in psychology. She completed her yoga teacher training (200 YTT) with Yoga Union school in Greece.
